Dice Tubes...

Hey... wait a second...

If point buy is the default stat generation method, and fireballs no longer do 1d6 per level...

Will dice tubes start selling tubes with only 1d6 in them now?

THIS GAME IS CHANGING EVERYTHING!!!

I could really get behind an 'all d6' D&D :) Maybe that'll be a future logo: d6 for 6E.
Released in 2016 likely. ;)

The only die I don't like is the d4. Otherwise, I say keep'm all.

Although I'm half tempted to just start implementing a 'roll 1d12 and divide by two to get a D6'.

Why, oh why, are they still using percentile dice?!?

This product contains a dice bag and a complete set of dice for use in the Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game: one 4-sided die, four 6-sided dice, one 8-sided die, one 10-sided die, one percentile die, one 12-sided die, and one 20-sided die.

If you don't buy them in tubes, dice come in 7-die sets with only 1d6. 's how all my polyhedral sets came when I rebuilt my collection this past year.

Because you occasionally need to use something with less than a 5% chance of success. And I'm sure there will still be tables with x% of y happening type deals, that aren't solely 5% at a time. You'll always need percentile dice. And even if it weren't detailed directly in the game rules, there are still DM's who will want to use them.

Tables...tables...tables...

Magic items...random encounters...etc.

All the stuff that I have not used for years :)

I never really liked seven die tubes. I despise the percentile die, because they are just ugly. d10s are so much less... cluttered.

Whereas I despise all d10s, no matter what they have printed on them.

Damn non-platonic solids. Grr.
