did anyone try the heroes of shadow preview at PAX?

Wow, between warlock and thief... that is a very good approximation...

I guess its rather a little bit below the thief, but even more excelling at 1 vs 1 combat. Average damage per attack is not what the executione is made for. It is heavily frontloaded. (Which then reduces incoming damage.)

So, being between them is probably the right place to be

I hope that the version in Heroes of Shadow is a little bit better than the december PDF - hopefully the 3 poisons aren't a mistake, and it gets a lot more per day than is printed there.

That assessment made me laugh.

I'm hoping the Executioner in-book comes out a little better too. Not getting my hopes too high seeing as the class just wandered into the book last minute. The rest of the book, and material in it, sounds great.

Do temp hitpoints count as healing? If I took this power I'd use it against a good controller and then make sure me and the defender had it blocked off from the enemy.

The Binder does sound interesting as does the Blackguard

Give it resistance to whatever its allies are using, and make sure you use this on an elite.
