Did the blogs section change ENWorld boards?

You could add either a "Blogs" tag to generel or add a blogs forum, where blogger who think their articles might be of interest to all of the community can post a link to a specific article.

I think, if possible, the forums should host the discussion about the blogs, but the blog space could give each person a place to sort their stuff.

Say, someone posts about his homebrew setting. In the plots&places forum this would quickly be scattered. If he had the blogs to post the content, but all comments would point to a threat in plots&places it would be both organised and visible for the whole community.

That would basically replicate the content you see by clicking on the blogs link. It shows new blog entries, etc. It's still one click away whether it looks like a forum or a blog latest entries page.

That link, as far as I understand you, does exactly what you've just described?

It was more a suggestion for bringing the blog articles into the fourm structure so they could be discussed.

It can be hard to generate a discussion on the comment section of blogs.

I've just seen someone cross-post their blog entry into the forum so it can be discussed, that is more along the lines of what I was suggesting. But maybe more automated.

Just post the blog as a thread too - that way, the blog serves as an archive.
