Well, my group will be confronting my version of the Dread Emperor on Tuesday. I will try to post his stat block after they defeat him, if they defeat him. He's got a lot going on, and so do several members of his entourage- there will be three legendary creatures (including him), as well as one artifact and, ahem, 3/7ths of another.

A minor update: Huge combat, and we're several rounds into. One player has surgery Monday so we probably won't be able to pick it up for another couple of weeks, alas. So far they've been unable to damage the Dread Emperor.

Our contestants on the pc side are (and note that several have custom subclasses):

Craven, dragonborn fighter (devoted defender) 10/barbarian (totem warrior) 6
Bunny, gnome (war) cleric 15
Tommy, halfling druid (land) 17
Danielle, human rogue (thief) 20+ (epic)
Praxis, elf druid (seasons) 8/ranger (hunter) 7
Hajime, human monk (open hand) 19
Karl Hungus, dragonborn paladin (vengeance) 20+ (epic)
Vann-La, elf fighter (footwork master) 20+ (epic)

VS.

The Dread Emperor, human ?? (but he's cast a 9th level wizard spell) with 20 children attached to the chains leading from his golden plate armor
Horhor, Sword Saint wielding the Sword of Thrush and 3/7 of the Rod of Seven Parts
Sollust deSpezha, archmage
A healer of legend
A champion
10 veterans (at least some of whom are parents to a child on those chains)
2 archers
4 horned devils

So far, only the archmage is dead, though several bad guys have briefly fallen before being healed (yes, I give my npcs death saves).

I'll update more when we have some further progress....
