I bought the Gift Set shortly after the release date. I will almost certainly buy the 5e core rulebooks shortly after release date (if, indeed, there ever is a 5e).

I did buy the three core books. However, now they sit in my "not very used books" section of my book shelf. I am currently running an AD&D 2nd campaign for my group.

Yep and my group all bought at least the PHB. We then ran KotS but havent played 4E again since.
Hoping to give Thunderspire a shot very soon.

If I were to buy them, I would reward wizards for straying from what I want to see in a game. That's the last thing I want to do.

I sat down with them at Borders, and then voted "no" with my wallet.

Yes. I wanted to bash 4e with an educated opinion. ;) Honestly, I had a campaign concept in mind that I planned to build as I learned 4e, but 4e is apparently not designed for DMs who prefer non-standard campaigns.

I keep my 4e books on a shelf across the room, along with other books I will seldom, if ever, pick up.
