Yes, actually I did. And was quite pleased. The latest installations of Dragon have had a nice sense of history.

I was pleased. I've actually really liked the last two ecologies (kobold and kraken), and I haven't liked them for a long time now. I really wish they'd change the format to either the old style or more like Lords of Madness. I grow weary of all the silly tips for defeating the creatures.

oh well, that's not as bad as i thought. that's not even 1 1/2 years ago, so he must be doing things other than ecology articles.

So, i was thinking, hypothetically... if we were to pitch Ecology articles based solely on creatures that have gods who need a good 3E writeup, there are a few good choices and a few maybe not so good choices. i would want to pitch some for other reasons entirely as well, but this is definitely one reason i would want to do it.

i left out a number of possibile races, such as those that have had Ecology articles in recent years, those that haven't yet appeared in 3E, and those who had an actual writeup in one book or another (Lords of Madness, Complete Divine, Powers and Pantheons, Draconomicon, etc). i'm sure i missed some that have already had a good writeup and don't need an Ecology article, and likewise i'm sure i left some off that probably need one.
