Could evil and undead creatures go to the Tower of Negative Energy to be revived, then? That might make for some adventure, to beat a group of baddies back to that tower, fighting all the way, to prevent them from raising their most powerful member. Recyclable villains!

Yep. I'd think so.

Edit: More so with the undead than the evil characters. Theres certain "undisclosed" traits about the negative energy region that I havn't talked about. I think an "evil" character could be revived normally since that still requires positive energy (neg energy will turn them into undead). Tough call actually...

Cool. Actually, as a good creature, you'd get level-drained if you got too close to the tower of Neg, so you'd have to figure out which way they were going, and intercept them somewhere. I can't wait - the first PC to book Greater Teleport is gonna be more popular than Britney! :)

Any comments/criticisms for my mountain goblin proposal? Also I have an updated version (2.2) of the Mercurial Initiate.

If we do #1, there would need to be some sort of organization created that would provide similar services for 'mortalists' or nonbelievers or whichever, otherwise those of us who have chosen not to follow a deity are needlessly penalized; if such a penalty is the intent, I'd like to see some sort of advantage to balance it out. Unless, of course, y'all feel that it's vital to the world for everyone to have a deity, like is true for the Forgotten Realms. I think GnomeWorks had something going with his Mortalist sect.

The mortalists are actually mine, and a good number of them are clerics. No worries...

Oh yeah, and my personal fave way to come back from the dead has always been reincarnate... until I discovered how destroyed the spell was in 3.5... Bastards! Can we PLEASE houserule that terrible new list and the bogus "expensive oils" component? Talk about ruining the flavor of a spell...

I was gonna say I like #2, but I really like #4.

Btw, about that new goblin race, is that an opening for players to start suggesting new races? Didn't we still need a Half-Drow and an Elf-Drow?

Also, what IS being decided about the paladin? I really suggest not touching it, but adding additional classes.

There's nothing wrong with proposing new material of any kind. The only limitation we've ever had in the types of submission was for deities, and even that area is open again.

The decision was the use the FR half-drow and the normal elf, I believe, with darkvision.

Nobody ever said anything about adjusting paladin, but alternative core classes for characters of different alignments were suggested. I havn't seen any submissions for those yet, though I havn't really been checking the flood of submissions. Not that I won't, but I try to hit each one with a good solid set of recommendations rather than just bouncing around.

There was some discussion about the halfdrow, since it gets that +2 Diplomacy/+2 Gather Information. I thought the idea was to give the Halfdrow +2/+2 too, only there was no final decision about it.
