After a few blocks worth of walking, Jehen had begun to get a better idea of where they were headed, and (more importantly) how long the trip would be likely to take. She stepped to the side of the street and swung her backpack down off her shoulders. "At this rate, we'll be half the day getting there, and time is likely to be critical. I'd say we pay out the expense of a skycoach- I'm willing to put the money up front for the lot of us. What say you all? Who knows- if we're lucky and our quarry is on foot, we may beat them back to their lair, and at worst we won't fall farther behind..."

OOC: Skycoach anyone? Jehen has the money, and she would appreciate not having to carry her pack for hours worth of walking...

Alton nods his head, in agreement "skycoach seems a better option than walking, my little legs would be extremely tired after such a long trip." he dips into his pocket, and checks he has enough funds to pay his share. Turning back to Jehen "i will, if you dont mind, contribute my fare"

Raekz shrugshis shoulders at the suggestion of the skycoach. Normally, it wouldn't really bother him to walk there, but if they want to arrive in style, there's hardly any reason to object to that. "Here, I can pay for my fare. Nothing like traveling in style to get the brain working for an investigation. Although it would be useful if we could charge it to the House."

"Well, I suppose if we must, but I fully expect to be paid for this little expense." Kaz agrees, hoping that there's an enemy around that he'll be able to take his aggression out on, all this talking was making him reconsider that the sewers might've been better.

Thanks for keeping that Intimidate roll!

Also the above isn't directed towards you (reading it over it might be misconstrued), just trying to RP out the action-oriented Kaz.

Seeing as the group finds themselves still in the Upper Ward neighborhood of Clifftop, they're easily able to flag down a sky coach, though all are surprised to see a scrawny goblin in well made work clothes at the Rudder.

Enquiring as to how much a trip to Cliff Side would be for 5 people, the goblin calculates 3 sovereigns a person.

ooc: all- sovereign=silver, who's paying for what?
Renau- thanks, no worries

occ: Can we all pay for our own then? If so 354b will start digging through his pack for those silly little bit's of raw materials the flesh-lings value so much. 'Where did I put them again?' he'll wonder.

Alton dips into his pockets, and pulls out his fair, before turning to the other members of the party "I can provide a little extra for anyone who may need assistance in covering the costs." he says holding out a few extra coins

The goblin, seeing the flash of silver from the oddly constructed warforged and the well dressed halfling, flashes the group a wide stained toothed grin and sticks out a pudgy fingered hand ready for payment.

ooc; please subtract the amount of SP you plan to pay from your character sheets
