Jehen paused just long enough to loosen her scarf and retie it across the bottom of her face- it helped, but only a little. Still, she was no amateur sleuth, she was a scion of House Tharashk- and she wasn't about to let herself get distracted or thrown off by a bad smell. She settled in to the task of searching the area as well- she was convinced that this wasn't a dead end.

OOC: Search 1d20+10= 16 ; roll Roll Lookup

Fanning out, leaving Kaz to guard the entrance, the trio of adventurers begins to search the Cave Stable; making sure to check each bearth and root around a bit, before moving to the rock walls and scouring them for clues.

Each pair of searching hands and eyes isn't able to come up with much though; just some very fresh piles of dung in 4 of the stalls.

"The horses that left this spoor didn't just vanish into thin air," Jehen noted, a slight whine of frustration creeping into her voice. "I'm inclined to think we just aren't looking close enough." She paused for a moment, scanning the area with the aid of all her enhanced senses, including a careful look at the floor, and as much of the ceiling as she could see. "So do we go for a thorough search, or backtrack and try one of the less-used passages?"

OOC: Visual sweep with See the Unseen and Detect Magic, as much of the room and ceiling as can be seen. Failing that, it looks to be go back or start the long process of taking 20 for a search- any other ideas? Also- are we down to 3 now?

"I don't know, seems like all we're finding is a lot of dung," Raekz replies, sighing. "If this is all there is to it, maybe we should just go while we still can breathe normally."

354b remembering the comment about a discovered smell fills one of his empty sacks with dung.

Occ: If there is only the one entrance to this room that we can see I vote for checking one of the other paths.
