DM questions that make you go "Uh oh"

"Where, exactly, are you all standing when the door is open?"

(After looking at the 19 you just rolled) "Are you sure you didn't want to spend an action point?"

"I'll need to know everybody's height and weight."

"Okay, you've said the command word. Who's the character nearest you?"

Phaezen

"Hang on" *CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK*(sound of my d20 rolling on the table, behind the screen)

Can I borrow some d6 please? (preferably while holding a handful)

Do you have feather fall memorized? (looking at the wizard, although it is even better when looking at the fighter)

"Are you sure that's what you want do do?"
That's my favorite, as well :)

Another favorite in my current campaign (where illithids are the BBEGs): "I'd like all of you to roll a Will save, please!" After hearing the results, this is usually immediately followed by: "Do you want to take an action point?"

If all of you were to die right now what kind of new characters would you like to play to continue this?

Are any of you magically resistant to violent explosions?

Sir Thomas has just been hit in the left eyeball and the back of the neck with long-shafted arrows. He collapses to the floor moaning and gasping for breath. What direction are you looking towards?

It smells wonderful in here. Do you keep breathing?

Hammond was just crushed to death under the huge falling stone door. That way is now blocked. Who tries the next hallway?

What's that ten foot pole made out of anyway?

You see what look like hundreds of fist sized spiders descending the rope you're climbing. You're approximately a hundred an fifty feet off the ground. Any ideas?

That creature covered you and all of your equipment in a thick, oily-like secretion before retreating into its dark lair. Do you want to follow it and if so how will you produce light to see?

Who can recognize cursed hieroglyphs?

My usual question is, "So, you're [repeat back whatever the player has just announced his/her character is doing]?"

I never get tired of the hesitant, wary "Yes...?" I usually get in response.
