Honestly, I would like to thank you for consider running it. :) I think Jarval would agree with me that he's not running two NPCs but to PCs.

I'm willing to deviate from pure Midnight as long as the dark, grim and gritty nature is kept whole so if you have books your intrested in using let me know what they are.

I was actually talking about rules/options from a book that you had always wanted to try but never had. :)

As for buying book I did offer to buy the CS setting for someone so sure that isn’t an issue. I only ask is that we limit them to Midnight Source books.

Cool, I need to read over it too. :) I see this game as basically the classic big than life villain in the darkest of worlds. (Well maybe not as dark as a domain lord in Ravenloft but close) Darth Vader, up until his redemption, is a great example of this.

I have no set goes for the game, I think once the character is stated up his unique abilities will help shape the game. I see legates, in general, patrolling a set amount of land, a town or what not, but I see my character, I so need to get a name for him, as being able to run anything to ground and their for he would be used as primary to track down some of the bigger nuisances.

Gestalt is a character type, it's quite powerful, basicaly for each character level you advance in two classes. (Here are the rules: link )

I wanted a way to limit character level, give the player greater versatility, and greater player uniqueness.
