DMG II Announced

Why the cover isn't blue? Easy:

The DMG2 -- with more prestige classes and more magic items -- an essential sourcebook for any D&D player!

Damn, I practice a lot of optical gymnastic today.
Gez, you should consider using the [sarcasm] tags when you do that. ;)

If the DMG2 is anything like the AD&D Campaign Sourcebook and Catacomb Guide (as the blurb kinda suggests, somewhat sorta), it couldn't fail to be the best WotC product so far.

I've really enjoyed Jesse Decker's work, and if memory serves Noonan has some solid FR credits -- this sounds like a good team.

Tell me more. Isn't the MM clear enough? :)

(Granted... Personally, I use an Excel spreadsheet that auto-calculates this stuff. I only need to change the size and HD and vóila.)

Where did you get the Excel spreadsheet?

Sounds useful, but $10 more and 32 pages less than the DMG? I don't know...

It makes sense that DMGII is more expensive, I think. It's a question of volume. WotC is VERY lucky if this gets 10% of the sales the ordinary DMG has! Every DM (well, almost...) will want to have the DMG, but how many of them will buy the DMGII?
