Go ahead and laugh at me. I'm just one fan of D&D. But think about it. If you are overly critical of me, imagine all the people who have voiced concerns similar to me. You've alienated every one of them too.

I doubt either company does a lot of profit sharing. WotC just expects higher profits and lower costs and is doing all they can to keep costs low.
The layoffs are sad but the employees were paid for their time. And it doesn't make sense to employ two full time editors when you're not releasing any books.
