I was wondering what the protocol or best practice to follow was in terms of including monsters from Volo's Guide to Monsters or Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes. I feel like the DM's Guild FAQ is a little vague on the subject, as they only mention "You can include things like summary stat blocks of monsters from the Monster Manual in your adventure." Let's say I wanted to use the Redcap from Volo's. Is it okay to reprint the summary stat block for the creature? Should I simply refer to Volo's and hope the DM who's picked up my product has access to it?
