DnD 3.5 - Valley of the Dead

crapolla just realizaed Knowledge (religion) isn't a druid class skill, gonna have to re-work the build and probably take a lvl of cleric to qualify for the PrC, (which is okay it fits the background) but it's a pain to do, I'll get to it by the end of the weekend

Can't afford to take the skills cross-class?

Can't afford to take the skills cross-class?

I could slash other skills and do it but I need 5 ranks for the prestige and RAW you need to be level 7 to have 5 ranks in a cross-class skill and with my LA I'm just now a hitting CL7

Quickest route would be to throw in a level of cleric to replace a druid level but unless I take two levels I get hammered with the XP penalty and I have to go back and double check the shapeshift alternate class feature to see if it's effected by the druid level drop, or I could go 7 levels of druid and just not take the PrC till next level, unfortunately the undead battling goodness doesn't really start till second level
Like I said I need to rework the whole build from level three or four on so pain in the ass to do

Question for ML

I bought a Holy Symbol, sivler and a Metamagic Rod(extended) would I be allowed to combine them into one item (Holy Symbol with rod's ability)?

Well I can't get my pic in any advice??

Practiced Spellcaster, yes...but there's no reason to take that if I'm just one caster level down. It's not really worth a feat to get one caster level.

If it granted spell progression, well sure...but that would be a lot better than a feat. :)

Isn't there a feat that lets you declare extra skills as class skills? Do you have room to slot it in, or are you already feat-starved?

There are two feats which do this(at least, two I can see via Crystalkeep.)

One makes ALL skills class skills, but you must be a doppleganger or a human(and the feat MUST be take at 1st level), and one that makes all knowledge skills in-class(And grants a small bonus to two chosen knowledges), but also must be taken at 1st level.

I just added Dakyras's background in to his character sheet. We should maybe have a character thread cause it's becoming difficult to find our PCs without it.

Well, to make Practiced Spellcaster worthwhile, you could always go Monk4/Sorcerer.

Or something X/Monk Y/Sorcerer Z

Though... that'd reduce your spell progression still further. Just tossing the rather obvious idea out there.

Also, to make sure Myth doesn't miss the question-
So, Myth, you'll allow me to apply Knight's Training(Multiclass between 1 selected class and Paladin is permitted), to Warshaper even if I don't multiclass into Warshaper after my first Paladin level?

I've sorta been holding off making the character until I know that is alright, as without it I need to rethink my whole build.

Theroc: You have my blessing. As long as you are spending a feat for it i don't mind the order in which you take the specified class and Paladin. Only one class though, so make it count! :)

HolyMan: Yes. I'm not sure if there's a rule for doing that. If not, take 20% off the combined price for both items and the silver, and add it as a fee for the crafting of said item. It'd be even better if you give the item a name and a back story.

Also, everyone: Rogue's Gallery. Go ahead and post your PCs sheets in their most complete form, it will be easier for me to review them. Also, Shayuri if you can help with character nitpicking that'd be grand...
