DnD 3.5 - Valley of the Dead

[Myth and Legend]

OK guys i've been stalling the game for some time now, waiting for ethandrew (who came back to us after having damaged his eardrum). Now things to do:

1. Get the spells prepared for Sensalar.
2. Wait for VV to be able to post regularly again (needed in combat)
3. Finalize nitpicking your chars.
4. Finalize the stats for the group of Dwarves.

I don't have much time, and have been busy with work as of late. Also, i will be away from tomorow until Wednesday and although i will be able to put in short posts as a player, i won't have several hours a day to devote as a DM.

I can't continue the game as RP only since Sensalar's spell pretty much ensures chaos, as it will provoke the Dwarves to attack him alongside Thok. But it will also provoke other patrons there as well - you will effectively ruin every visitor's dinner and this town is full of mercenaries and adventurers who have answered the temple's summons.

Thok can handle everything. You just need to path 'm up and he will dispense as much damage as it's needed.

Actually Thok will get the breastplate wearing Dwarf, as that guy hates Orcs with a passion and he is drunk and enraged enough not to differentiate between Orc and Half-Orc. And no one bothered mentioning that Thok was a Half Orc so.. But, if you guys survive, there is someone who is very interested in the "defeater of the White Lady" part.

Sensalar will have to deal with two Dwarves, and Alevyth with another. He made a threat after all...

Most of the adventurers in that tavern would jump in a fight but not when those Dwarves are involved. They would likely kick you once you've fallen though. Don't worry however, Adelaide is a part of the Paladins force and they still are the most prominent authority in tow as far as military might is concerned. Bran? Bran is a tough tough bastard, if he makes it back in time the fight will stop for the most part. Good thing Bran has taken a liking to Sensalar Well we'll see how things go once is stat out everyone, which i can't do until next week :/ Should anyone with sourcebooks available decide to volunteer and review other char sheets i will be most grateful.

Uhh ScottDeWar asked me the other day why i was procrastinating so much with VOTD. First and foremost, I'ts been a hard two months at work, and things aren't looking good. So I go to work, then i go home relax for a few hours and go to sleep. On the weekends i went to my home town to help out a friend with his aparatment.

That has left me no time to stat out these damn dwarves - the Valley itself has been in my mind for some time and things will progress much more smoothly once we get there, but i have to stat out some of the enemies that are not published material like say zombies.

Also, Theroc is on hiatus, and i wanted him to act in combat as well, although that is not the main reason - i can NPC a Mary Sue like Alevyth quite convincingly

I apologize and I promise i will renew the adventure as soon as i have an afternoon all to myself. I hope you guys don't give up on this game (honestly not sure why anyone would - it's not like we are losing anything, apart from patience )

Good news - i have finished statting out Bolgrim Bloodaxe and am almost done with Adelaide as well (did her last time).

I have two more Dwarves to stat out and we are off!

hint: Bolgrim is one mean mean bastard..
