Is this the vision Morrus and Eric Noah had for this site?

*chuckle*

Gaming is a loose fraternity at best- I have always believed we treat each other worse then any non-gamer group could ever hope to treat us.

But I don't think I dislike anyone here- I like Kid Charlemagne's posts. I just disagree with him.

Besides- he started it! :)

Maybe we should take this to nutkinland if we want to continue this debate *cough* flamewar *cough*.

This is hardly a flame war

But, then again, I'm not going to even go near the global warming debate. :)

Which may well be the case; It's actually an argument that I can buy, as opposed to saying that it doesn't exist, like they have for the past two decades.

Well, when they can build a model that accuretly tells the weather 3 days from now- then I will believe a model that tells it 20 years from now.

So add me to those who think it is hogwash.

(Sorry, I can't help it.)

Yeah, but it's the type of brushfire that can easily consume half the state of Arizona if one is not careful. ;) Better to nip it in the bud and make it friendly.

man i hate weathermen! we've had like two straight weeks of 80 - 90 degree temperatures, and some idiot weatherman on the 11:00 news the other night says "well, these thunderstorms here should miss us, fortunately". Fortunately? hey jackass, it would be nice to sleep an entire night without sticking my head under the bathroom sink to cool down at 3:00am. heaven forbid a thunderstorm come along and cool things down.

then again, when that storm does happen i'll have to watch them break into network programming with a crazed look in their eye, terrorizing old people with warnings of biblical-sized floods and lightning that will zap them straight to hell. then they'll have that stupid map of our county with a green splotch on it splashed across the screen for about 2 hours.

did i mention i despise weatherman?

Weather...weather...ah, I remember weather. It's been about 70 degrees since March, each and every day. I got a call from the Weather Channel asking my opinion a couple months ago. They wanted to know how often I watched their programs. I had to explain that I live in San Diego, and that we _don't_ have weather.

PS Wouldn't the humidity from the storm make things worse?

No. I'm with Stannis. I would welcome some rain around here. I was really hoping yesterday it was going to break and even now I am eyeing the clouds in the northwest hoping they roll in heavy.

The rain will make the humidity drop for a blessed period of time.

I've even thought of buying an air conditioner for my office here, though it would only see another month or two of use.

wicht, everyone thinks i'm nuts but i wish it were winter 12 months a year. summer is the most overrated thing i've ever encountered. when it's 95 degrees, you're just as much a prisoner to the indoors as you are when there's 2 feet of snow. in the winter, however, you can grab a blanket, start a fire, jack up the furnace. unless you have AC, you're screwed in the summer. you can't take off your skin.

bring on the snow.

Actually I prefer fall.
:)

Even if I do normally get melancholic for a couple weeks each fall, the weather, the leaves and the atmosphere all combine to make fall my favorite season.
