Do any gaming this All Hallow's Eve?

If so, tell EN World about it! :) Horror (or mock-) gives you bonus points, but it's all good.

Unfortunately, not for me this year. :( So, vicarious will just have to do.

Ran Part 2 of Edge of Anarchy (from Curse of the Crimson Throne) in 4e. Ate candy, rolled dice, laughed at costumes, and enjoyed the game. Good times all around.

None for me though we usually have a Saturday night game, as one of hte players was out of town, and iwth just two players and a DM, that pretty much cancels everything.

Looking forward to next week.

I thought I was gonna game, but nobody showed up except for the Trick-or-Treaters. When I answered the door, they said, "What are you supposed to be....a Dungeon Master?" Then they called me a nerd, threw eggs at me, and ran away. I realized I don't need a costume, my normal DM look is good enough.

I played in an online LFR game today which is Halloween elsewhere. Aside from it being slow because of various and sundry issues with Maptools, it was fun. I got my drow rogue up to 2nd level and she only ever missed twice during the entire game, plus she managed to crit and action point to do 50 points of damage on one of her turns.

All up, a satisfactory day :)

I ran my usual Saturday night game. Was only expecting 2/5 players so we were going to do some board-gaming or something, but got 4/5 so the game actually happened.

Party rescued the only friendly member of the hostile Hegemony's royal family from a hobgoblin army, finally joined the Resistance (at level 9 when I was expecting them to at level 4), did 3 days of research at the Library at Stavenholdt (and gave away a druidic artifact), went on a Scathebeast hunt on behest of Lord Eldebrast Elissarian Rando Magnoral 17th and, in exchange, got an airship lift for their walking hut to bypass the Scathebeast migration so they could finally get to the Fey-slipping Eladrin city of Torvael (that I thought they would get to at level 6), only to get ambushed by a drow party looking to kill the party's gnome sorcerer (who used to be a drow before her wild-magic screwed up the raise-dead spell cast on her and left her a gnome).

All-in-all, pretty productive and fun night.

Ran a playtest of my 4e Modern game that I'm developing on my site for 5 of my regular D&D players, where they all worked at a biotech research firm who were trapped in their office during a zombie outbreak.

On the minus side, 4 out of 5 of them died as they tried the brute force method to escape (the doctor/healer character being the first to drop) and none of the characters achieved any of their objectives.

On the plus side, the system mostly worked so it was a successful playtest at least. :)

My Devi's Night Game (10/30) fell through because my players had the galls to do things OTHER than game (like go on a honeymoon, spend time with their kids, or visit with estranged brothers).

So no gaming for me. :(
