Do any other old school gamers hate the term grognard?

Of course, you and me well know that it’s a +3 Badge of Honor now, but the grognards won’t have it…

I see it as a description of behaviour not a demographic.

I think it is both. When used in jest or by the person themselves it is often just a description of a old gamer who might be a little grumpy, when used spitefully it is a description of someone who is unwilling to change, and stuck in that past.
