Right he's dead.

The example FEADIN was referring to was a Fighter 1/wizard 1. He's not dead. Or he could be referring to a bugbear wizard 1.

Maybe, maybe not. With this thread anything is possible.

A single classed, 1st level wizard with no racial hit dice would be dead with 1 negative level though.
