Do racial bonuses stack?

In 3E, Haste provided a haste bonus to AC, lost whenever a dodge bonus would be lost.

I suspect someone decided to rationalise that to a dodge bonus in the upgrade, but forgot to modify the description of dodge bonuses to reflect the change.
