Do Two-Handed Weapons Do +1 Damage?

Do two handed melee weapons do +1 damage or is that just versatile weapons wielded two-handed? Does a bastard sword do more damage wielded two-handed than a greatsword?

I thought it was all two-handed melee weapons but all I can find in the PH is the reference on versatile weapons.

Just versatile weapons wielded with two hands.

Does a bastard sword do more damage wielded two-handed than a greatsword?
Yes.

There is no rule that says two-handed melee weapons deal a +1 point of damage. That is the reason you cannot find it.

The additional damage from two handed weapons is included in their damage die, so there is no additional bonus.

(In the case of Bastard Sword vs. Greatsword, one is a Superior weapon and one is a military weapon. So you spent a feat to get that +1 damage. The two handed guy could be wielding a fullblade with a feat, or have taken Weapon Focus or something.)

Fullblade or "Greatsword 2 the Apology".

Yes. And a Bastard Sword is a superior weapon, and greatsword is a Martial weapon. Therefore, if Bastard sword does exactly one more point of damage, I'm not losing any sleep.

Just versatile weapons. But equivalent class two-hander weapons have larger weapon dice, which means more than a single point of damage for powers that have x[W] where x > 1, and -at least- one point for 1[W]

Fullblade or "Greatsword 2 the Apology".

Fullblade costs a feat, so if it's better than greatsword I'm not losing any sleep, either.

considering i have to be up in 5 hours to go to work... (I'm once again addicted to stargate)

heh there you go losing sleep...

So A longsword with two hands d8+1 is the same as a Greatsword d10?
Except with a Greatsword you cant choose to use it onehanded?

Another thing that bothers me about full-blade is ...
well Greatsword is a name of real weapons.

And the closest i can analog with fb is the big fantasy anime weapons or
some such... or saying some weapons that I would have called
Greatswords like the German Zwiehander are actually a fullblade
if they are used "that way"
