Doctor Who SE04 EP12: The Stolen Earth (Spoilers!)

Very enjoyable episde - and the ending was fantastic. No preview for the next episode, either, so we can keep on the edge of our seats until next week. ;)

One other thing- why does the name of the Lost Planet Poosh ring bells for me? Ten has mentioned it before, yes? This season?

I think it was the epsiode where the doctor was eventually possessed by the alien being on the crystal planet in the "plane". The assistant of the professor is researching the topic, IIRC.

Great episode. Great ending. Can't wait for next week. One of the things I love about Doctor Who is how they always surprise you.

Pinotage

That episode was bloody AMAZING, woot! :)

ok trailer for next weeks is up, Davros plans to...wlel, you cna go watch it or find out, hehe ;)

my thoughts
#1) notice the ring, Donna had and was playing with in the Shadow Proclamation scene...hm? there's been lots of hints there's more ot Donna than it appears.

#2) Note the Doc's hand was in the TARDIS at the end...?

#3) Me thinks there's even MORE stuff hidden under all this for the future.

Didn't notice that at all! Could it have been the Master's ring?

#2) Note the Doc's hand was in the TARDIS at the end...?
I wondered if that was some kind of dramatic signal that someone was going to die or be regenerated. The last couple of times that it has featured strongly were when the Master returned and in the episode with the Doctor's Daughter. But maybe there is more to it after all...

Well, now we know what happened to the earth in Battlestar... The Dalaks blew it up. And that’s why the Battlestar crew had such a hard time finding it. The Dalak’s also moved it.

Heh.

I wonder where they will go with the regeneration. Tennent is signed on for a few movies and another season, I think.

Edit: Davros makes a good lich analog in a sci-fi game. Also, given his current stated goals, he's joined the ranks of Darkseid and the Crimson King of villians in the unhallow halls of... WTF.

I love some of the effort they make towards long-term continuity.

Remember when the doctor thinks "Somebody tried to move the earth once before... but it couldn't be..."?

The second Dr Who movie, "Daleks Invasion Earth" from 1966 had as its central plot the plan of the daleks to... move the earth!
