D&D 4E Does anyone agree with me about 4E?

Or...

You have systematically proved my premise baseless and all of my arguments flawed; thus I will now hurl invective at you until I get the thread closed.

I strongly insist that you, by arguing that the penalties for failing at a particular in-game action are overly extreme, are really arguing that all threats to a character's well being be removed from the game. I suggest you go play Children's Game instead of D&D.

No, you are completely wrong!!!
Please go injure yourself in some grizzly manner so that the non-gaming public at large will have more 'proof' that gaming is evil.

I strongly insist that not even a word is changed in the campaign setting guide of my favourite campaign setting. The original author of my favourite setting got it all right in the 1st Edition guide book and only he should be allowed to change anything, despite the fact that he sold the rights years ago and many people worked on the setting since then!
Also, (insert name) must be stopped!!!

Because I am an altogether more respectable person than you are, I will take the high road and not voice my opinion of you or your obnoxious, inflammatory, insulting, trolling, biased, bannable, thread-derailing, thread-locking, point-lacking, misinformed, evidence-shy contribution to this discussion. :D

I will simply remain on this lofty perch throwing taunting smileys and thinly-veiled barbs at you so as to goad you into a verbally hostile response which violates several forum rules and shows everyone just what a fricking git you are. Don't you wish you could enjoy the view from the high road too? :)

I suggest that any problems you have with 3.x are entirely due to your players (if you are the DM), and you should kick them out of your game; or due to your DM (if you are a player), and you should never ever play with him again.

I also suggest you murder them and make off with their possessions. ;)

Have you read Game Designer's latest blog entry? I won't post a link (so that you have to go looking for it yourself), but I'm sure you'll agree that he is roxxor/teh suck, and that he is faultless/has the imagination of a rubber tree plant.

His latest idea is something we've been doing for years in my game/the worst idea ever conceived of in the history of the world.
