Does anyone else not like Anne Mcaffery's books?

I think age plays a part of it, but I like her novels even today. I almost forgot about her Sassinak series. Her Brain/Brawn books were pretty good to me as well (Ship Who Sang, City Who Fought etc.)

I'd forgotten about both of those, but I enjoyed them as well. I especially liked the tie overs between the Ship who Sang series and the Crystal Singer series. It really made the universe come together a bit more.

I can't get into her books either, no matter how hard I try, and I've pushed myself through some rather bad boooks. Her style just comes off really dry...same reason I haven't read the Lord of the Rings, just really dry and bland.
