In one of my posts in General RPG Discussion, I suggested it might be good to see the people who were laid off work on a project. Maybe even make a fundraiser for the people who were laid off, especially if anyone is really having a hard time.
I am sure that most of the people who were fired will be fine in the long run. As I recall, Wulf Ratbane has already said he would be glad to hire a few people from WotC.
Maybe Adkison could do Midwest Mages (MWM), to avoid confusing his products with a popular candy or a rap star.
Trust me, after taking a break, they'll get back into it via freelancing. They got a lot of avenues, especially when there are companies that are owned and operated by former Wizards/TSR employees.
I just hope they don't take any offer from Kevin Siembieda and his Palladium company.

Sorry, Wulf. Fatigue is setting in and I am getting ready for sleep.
I think a break will do some people good. I just got a horrible image earlier of people having a job layoff and another major crisis going on. That can be very rough.
With so many gaming companies by former WotC employees, most people should find work when they are ready.
Now if the people on the boards could just buy WotC.
