Does gaming slow down from Nov 15- Jan1?

Is it me or does gaming time decrease at this time but there is a increase in getting new supplies/books. With all of the time off/vacations you would figure you could game more.

If that is the case the Jan games must rock because all of the new stuff from all the new books that people read while on holiday break.

What do you mean? Vacation means I'm more busy! I've got three Christmas parties (two of which we're hosting) to go to, and then I'm headed out of town. We also had relatives in town over Thanksgiving, although amazingly enough I was able to break away on Saturday night for a quick impromptu guys-only "olde skool" D&D game after everyone crashed.

Yep. Thanksgiving through New Years means travel, holiday shopping, concerts, family get-togethers -- not much time for gaming. Things start to pick up in January when people are starting to face the winter doldrums.

Ugh. That'd be nice, if true for me. BTW, did y'all watch Lord of the Rings last night? Are we going to pick up our game, since the holidays are upon us and that's what they're all about?

Absolutely. Our game is mostly thirtysomethings, and through the holidays we're busy with our families, often travelling out of town. We have precisely one session scheduled for that period, this saturday.

I'ld like to know which people are on holiday from the 15th November to the 1st of January?

As it is I can't go gaming this weekend as we have relatives round, new years I'll be in Barcelona, and up to the 24th Dec I'll be working as normal.

I have less time for gaming because this is the bad time in college... all the major stuff that everyone puts off till later "because there is plenty of time" suddenly comes up due...

Not to mention finals, though I lucked out and only have one this semester (Let's hear it for good class selection! )
