Does your gaming take a hit because of the holidays?

Yes, this year it does. We play on Sundays, so with Christmas Eve and New Years Eve falling on a Sunday, the games are off.

We shut down for Dec. and don't game to make up for it we spend a weekend gaming away from home at the beach (during winter time is not a vacationy time) therefore we actually lose little gaming "time". The break is usually a good thing allowing us to de stress and miss the game so we appreciate it when we get back to it in Jan.

Oh yes... lots of missed games during the Holidays. I just emailed our crew about missing out on Sunday's game due to a case of shopping and parties. Then next week is Christmas Eve, so I would imagine no game... and follow that up with New Year...

This year the holidays just screw up our normal Sunday routine.

Not as bad as I thought it might this year.

We are missing one player next weekend but still plan to meet. The week after that, we are back to full strength.

We gamed all night last year on New Year's. Not sure about plans for this year yet.

Yep, I just did my last FtF game for a month, and two of my online gmaes will be either slow or non-existant for the next few weeks. Happens every year, unfortunately.

Yes. Our game is on hiatus from early December, until the second week of January.

Yeah, between Thanksgiving and New Years I rarely game.

Not as bad this year as in previous years. This year, we're only missing two games from Thanksgiving to New Years. Not bad.
