(I hope I put this in the right forum... Mods, feel free to move if I did it wrong)
A friend of mine - actually, the guy who got me playing 3.0 D&D 6 years ago - has decided to do the AIDS Lifecycle, a 7-day, 545 mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money for AIDS research.
It's a great cause and, as the guy who was responsible for me playing D&D again, I thought it not too out of line to post about it here. I know times are tough all around, but anything folks are willing to donate is appreciated.
If anyone is interested in donating (and donations are tax deductible), please go here. I receive no form of compensation for this, it's just a great cause and a tremendous effort.
Thanks!
