Not to rain on anyone's parade/Inquisition, but the Frostbite 2 engine is, to the best of my knowledge, a first person shooter engine used in other EA games like Battlefield and Medal of Honor. It seems like a curious choice as the foundation for an RPG, doesn't it?

There sadly has been a trend with EA games to become more action orientated lately.

Mass Effect, although it was pretty shootery to begin with, especially Dragon Age 2 when compared to Origins and also Dead Space (The 3rd one gets co-op because EA Market research said that playing alone is too fear inducting for the target audience. Reminder: Dead Space is/was a horror game)

Also some big shot at EA recently said that he hates single player games and wants more facebook integration. And I think multiplayer is also announced for DA3.
So you can guess what game DA3 will be.
Is Mr. Awesome Button still leading the DA team?
