ooc:
Which party member number am I please (on your map)?
What is the scale for each square?
Is there any shadow near Argon's location?
I need to know my location on the map prior to making an IC response. :)

You are 5 I think - I used the order of the list you created in ooc and numbered 1-9

What is the scale for each square?
5 feet

Is there any shadow near Argon's location?
Tons...it is near dusk in a lightly forested area...they are almost everywhere.

I need to know my location on the map prior to making an IC response. :)

[So I´m party member #6]

A smile, and almost a tear, appears in Telutiel´s face when the ambush brings him memories of his years as a caravan guard. He merrily cast two spells in quick sucession, one of them engulfing several archers in a hellish sphere of flames.

[Actions:

- Cast Haste as standard action
- Brace shield as movement action
- Cast Empowered Fireball to catch archers 3,5,7 and 8. Fire Damage is 33x1,5=49. Reflex save DC 18 for 24 damage.

Both spells defensively casted if needed; no problem for me, I have +19 in Concentration, so I can cast 5 level spell rolling a 1.

Status:

AC: 36, touch 21.
HP: 94/94

Active spells: Haste.]

EDIT: My spot skill is not +11 but +17.

Argon quietly murmurs "Sasha, Zhahn, Trixi.. do not engage. Follow me to the trees on the right." Argon jumps into shadow near him and disappears from view.

OOC:

Surprise round: ShadowJump. I am heading behind Archer 1 and his tree. Looks like that'll use about 30ft of my 80ft per day of 'jump.

((Shadow Jump(su): At 4th level, the shadowdancer gains the ability to travel between shadows as if by means of a dimension door spell. The limitation is that the magical transport must begin and end in an area with at least some shadow. The shadowdancer can jump up to a total of 20 feet each day in this way, although this may be a single jump of 20 feet or two jumps of 10 feet each. Every two levels thereafter, the distance a shadowdancer can jump each day doubles (40 feet at 6th level, 80 feet at 8th level, and 160 feet at 10th level). This amount can be split among many jumps, but each one, no matter how small, counts as a 10-foot increment. (A 6th-level shadowdancer who jumps 32 feet cannot jump again until the next day.)))

Round 1: AC26, HP 107-45=62. Attack Archer 1, then Hide-in-plain-sight. Do I get any bonuses for 'surprise' by suddenly appearing behind him/her?

Rolls:
Roll(1d20)+0:18,+0 Total:18
Roll(1d20)+0:13,+0 Total:13
Roll(1d20)+0:15,+0 Total:15

3atk x Longsword +1 (keen,imp crit),
Attack1: 18(threat15-20)+14= 32 to hit, (8+1)*2=18 dmg
Attack2: 13+9= 22 to hit, 1+1=2 dmg
Attack3: 15(threat15-20)+4= 19 to hit, (6+1)*2=14 dmg

((Hide in Plain Sight(su): Shadowdancers can use the Hide skill even while being observed. As long as they are within 10 feet of some sort of shadow, shadowdancers can hide themselves from view in the open without anything to actually hide behind. They cannot, however, hide in their own shadows. Hide in plain sight is a supernatural ability.))

Rino sees the arrows flying around him. he tumbles to the side of the road and hides in the bush. he tries to come closer to the 'bad guy' and he will sneak attack him
(hide and MS: +35, +20 to hit 1d8+6+8d6)

OOC: As I wait for a couple of other responses I have a couple of questions about Argon's actions. Suprise round...cool. Round one: Does using the hide skill use any type of action (Move-equv., partial) or is it a free action?

As far as a bonus for suprise, I think that would be unfair to the PCs as I would use the same bonus against you and that would be a numerical advantage for the Mountain.

ooc: I don't know about the action. It's based off of the hide skill but it's a supernatural ability. So I'm not sure how it works. Let me see if I can find a comment on it in the forums. If it's a move-equiv does that mean I can attack+move-equiv?

Using a Supernatural ability is a move equivelant action. He could get there but Shadowjumping just like Dimension door ends his turn. It says so in the spell discription for Dim. Door and that is what the shadow dancer's ability is based off of.

OOC: Ok. So during surprise round I can shadowjump, then during round 1 i can attack + move-equiv (HiPS). Correct?
