Actually it was Quickbeam who asked originally. I just responded because I was there and also curious. No big.

But I wonder if we are all on the same page.

I believe Quickbeam was asking if the following example is correct:

Ancient Wyrm Red Dragon Fullplate Armor = +14 AC (+8 armor, +6 natural).

That's correct.

Re: Custom Dragonhide Rules

I have a set of dragonhide rules that I use in my games. They might suit ya' fancy. :)

If you don't like the idea of Elemental Damage Reduction, you can always substitute it for Elemental Resistance and modify the prices accordingly.

I can't attach it for some reason, so give me an email and I'll send it on to anyone that wants to take a look. Let me know if you have any questions.

Could you send it to me at the following address?

kender@infis.univ.trieste.it

thx

Look at the all the options I've got now for my happy little paladin's new armor :D! Beyond prestige, fame and experience, he's got a myriad array of dragonhide armor options (assuming the DM remains lenient) at his disposal.

And to think all of this began because I thought the MM rules were underpowered, yet those supplied in QF might be overpowered.
