Draw Steel News

This has been an experience I didn't expect. I've listened to Matt for a long time, and have seen how he's run previous projects. And he brought in a bigger team for Draw Steel. I'm sort of at the point where I'm losing any concern for how this project is going to come out. And the thing is, this was what I had intended to be my system going forward. It's disappointing to say the least.

Now when the game comes out, it may rock and all may be forgiven. If I had to wager, however, the lack of showing the higher level materials off tells me I may not be pleased with that part of the game.

This is a project that I want to work, and I'm looking forward to the eventual release, but I'm going agree that for something this big, and from someone who's been really solid in the past, it's been a disappointing experience. That does not make me a hater, just not having my interest in the project ramping up as the game looks to be finally coming out.

I'm in the same boat. If you'd asked me a year ago which D&Desque game I was most interested in I'd have said Draw Steel in a heartbeat. I don't watch Colville much, mostly because his sensibilities are too like mine.

In the last month Daggerheart (a game I expected not even to be worth picking up based on Mercer's design skills and Candela Obscura) has become my go-to and I expect little from Draw Steel
