Does a druid benefit from possessing feats in beast form ?
If he has the toughness feat does he gain bonus hit points ?
If he is wearing heavy barding in bear form can he employ his heavy armor mastery feat, etc ... ?

Well,
generally armor gets absorbed into druids new form. And druids cant wear metal armor.

But if you do have "dragonhide" plate and its magical and you're proficient with it, it would be logical to have an AC of 18 +whatever magic bonus armor provides and the feat would work then IMO.

toughness is affecting druids own HP, so this would be double effect, so no. You could house rule that the feat affects only HP of wild shape forms but that is up to your group.

all other feats should work if your body is able to perform them.
I.E. polearm mastery would work if you shift into an ape, not so much for a goat or a spider.

1. by RAW: Yes.
2. In normal form, yes. In animal form, Possibly, more of a DM thing.
3. By RAW and IMO: Yes.

Not answering perhaps by RAW but here's my take:

Does a druid benefit from possessing feats in beast form ?

Yes.

Not added to the beast form's HP.

If he is wearing heavy barding in bear form can he employ his heavy armor mastery feat, etc ... ?

Yes (not the Str bonus tho), but good luck finding an armor barding suitable for a bear. Even if you do, you'd still need to carry it around while in druid form and don it after changing into bear.

Sentinel is the perfect feat for a Druid + Monk/Barbarian that's paired up with a PC with Mounted Combatant. That's the premise behind my PC Jh'mi D'behr, aka Asbestos Bear thanks to a ring of fire resistance.

Enemy tries to melee attack mount, partner redirects attack to self, enemy eats a claw for their troubles.

Druids have an advantage when it comes to feats. After all, they can always shapechange from two feats to four feats.

Four feats good. Two feats bad!

*slow clap*

Most useful feats for a Druid are Resiliency (Con) to get those Con saves up while you're shapeshifted, and Sentinel to make you the primary target.
