Once, I inflicted rot grubs on a character because the player was annoying me (Gimme a break! I was like 14).

Ear Seekers

Any savvy thief would have an ear cone with wire mesh to listen at doors. It was on the equipment list for a reason.

Sonofa- I have it listed on half a dozen character sheets from 1E but its not in the PHB. Maybe its in Dungeoneers Survival Guide? I only had a DM use ear seekers against me once, ONCE!. lol
