DUUD: New Moon 1

"Assasins? HAH! I've faced much worse than that! What you guys think? Onward or back?" Hassan looks around at his 'comrades'.

"If there is need, I could get myself and..." Tutsan pauses, studying his companions briefly, "at least two others to either Waterdeep or Suzail in under a minute."

"Bah! Why waste yer magics like that? The rest would still have to walk, and there'd be 3 less of us to help if the group was attacked. Now, if yer planning on doing that when them assasins show, ya can go right ahead, but I'll be done slicing them to bits before ye reach yer destination!" Hassan laughs heartily at the thought of a nice bloodbath.

If you can transport us all in 2 trips perhaps we should go to Waterdeep first and solve that issue and then go to Suzail. If not then we should certainly spur this group on. Perhaps we could make them think we are being followed and it would be in our best interest to hurry...

"Two trips are not, ah, currently possible. My current selection of prepared spells have neglected transportation in favour of more martial dweomers."

Perhaps tomorrow?

In either case, we had better wake the Ranger and the back trackers to make sure that we are indeed alone. It is evident that someone knows where we are.

ooc: Sorry, buy I'm not terribly familiar with the realms. Should I have recognized the lady, and if so, as who?

Lorrin, who has thus far remains silent, offers some words. "I don't exactly understand what just happened, but I see no reason to change our course. We'll be where we need to be shortly, either way."

Peter speaks up:

"whats this of changing course? I intend to be going to Suzail as planned, I have someone waiting forme there."

Alexander hears a muttering of someone tracking you and responds:

"EUUhhh as far as I can tell, the druid is doing a pretty good job of keeping us hidden, and there hasn't been anyone tracking us as far as a day back. Waking those Scouts wont do much good, this land is largly uninhabited, that is afterall the reason we chose this route. And I'm with Peter, whats all this business with chaning course. If I heard right you are thinking of taking us to Waterdeep, why? Its twice the distance from here? The least we could do is ask the whole party what their stand is on the subject."

The fighters are starting to become wary of the rest of you, as if they were oblivious to you until now.

“I say that we head onwards to Suzail, since what happens back in Waterdeep doesn't concern us currently.” Hostegym smirks, “Besides there's always a bunch of adventures to solve the problem so why should we bother.”

Kaz/Khael turns to the bard and ranger, "Peter, Alexander, there's not much to fear except we have gotten word that there may be assassins coming after us, perhaps this very night. We shouldn't worry however, although tonight it may be best to sleep close together so that our enemies would have a harder time to take us by surprise. For this same reason Alexander I think you should stay here for the rest of the night instead of tracking-I think our enemies may be too skilled to be found anyways."

The cleric then turns to Silent Wind, (in a calm tone) "Scy, would you please remind me again why we can't simply teleport the cargo over to Suzail? It seems we may need to do this as a precaution."

Later, when he can get a word alone with his companions, "Do not underestimate the power that information can bring us...however getting the cargo to Suzail quickly may be the best option, if we can speed up the journey with a teleport we may be able to investigate both Suzail and Waterdeep. Though I think whatever our course of action we should decide in the morning, til then, we need to keep our defenses up."
