Dwarf Fighter vs. Warforged Fighter: Which for you?

Warforged or Dwarf?

Human. More feats and skill points allow for greater flexibility and fighting styles. (Sometimes a lightly armed fighter built for speed or a master bowman is better than a tank.)

Nah, I picked other... There is nothing like Larry Nevin's Kzinti barbarian to make a tank player feel happy. I was fortunate to play two, I was banned from playing them again cause I was just too good/lucky/effective with them...

Ahh, I miss you Krrrr'n Cattlebane...

Two days ago I'd have picked Dwarf hands down.

However, last night was my first session of a new Eberron campaign.

Sorry, stumpy: Warforged all the way.

Maybe they didn't let you play him because your DM has rules about first names without Vowels.

I've played fighters, and when a fight does break out I'll be the first to admit that he's a bad ass of epic proportions... however that rest of the time I'm relegated to a secondary role.

As either a Dwarf Fighter or a Warforged Fighter I'd get a little bit bored after a while...

Now give me a Half-Orc Urban Ranger/Master Inquisitive with the mark of finding and a repeating crossbow and I'm a happy man!

Warforged, if for no other reason than novelty. The roleplay potential is what really appeals to me, as they are undefined and unburdened by stereotypes.

Dwarf Cleric with a Con of 20 (which is what I play in my current game)

Why?

Not only am I a totally awesome fighter. Not only am I a bad ass spell caster. Not only am I virtually immune to all poison or disease (damn natural 1) I’m a hit point socialist. I have twice as many hit points as anyone else in the group and with a casting of Shield Other on the rogue while we're exploring a dungeon I’m his best friend. Oh yeah and I can heal my self for full hit points. Therefore I am much more useful then a plain-Jane Warforge fighter.
