Hunter Brightwood
Hunter bent over and examined the bodies, why would they take the head he thought to himself, his expression blank. Out of the corner of his eye Hunter saw Shara start to move away and heard her and Magen discussing burying the bodies.
“I too would like to see the bodies buried properly,” Hunter began solemnly, “but Shara is right every moment we spend digging is time those monsters get to find another victim.”
Hunter shook his head, “Also I would prefer to bury these bodies with their heads if we could, make them whole. Perhaps we can place the bodies in the burnt out buildings until we return, . . . try to keep the birds at bay.”
