[Round 2]

Nezrak (NPCd) tries again with a scorching ray but is unable to hit.

Gorefoot stands around drool spilling from his mouth as he starts yammering madly.

Percy casts magic missile, three purple missiles thud into the creature, injuring it a lot.

Ishmael discards his shield and lays into the quivering mass of fleshy grossness. A solid hit with his deadly warhammer causes the creature to stop moving and stop gibbering.

Nars scrambles out from under the thing.

SlagMortar

First Post
Nars tries to wipe off his beard before eventually seeing it is useless, all the while spitting and saying things like "Bleh, pootf, yeew".

"That was, er, terrible. I feel ill," finishes the now pale dwarf.

OOC: I'm going to be out of town 9/16 to 9/24. Nars will continue to search for traps, but try to avoid too much combat given his new found constitution. If he has the chance to flank someone without moving into the middle of combat, he will do that.

Manzanita

First Post
"Oh Nars!" Percy rushes to him, but pulls up short, unwilling to hug him when he is covered with disgusting drool-stuff. She decides its worth a spell to get that stuff off of him. Clearly, she would use the spell if it were she who were so covered. "Scrub scrub" she says curtly and waves her hand about.

Percy casts Prestidigitation to clean Nars.

She then gives him a hug. "I'm so glad you're OK, Nars."

She then approaches Gorefoot with trepidation. "Fondar." she whispers. "Are you OK?"

Once everyone is settled, Percy will look in the spaces under the statues.

LEW Judge
Ishmael grimaces at the goo that's splattered all about his hammer and his garb. But seeing Nars' situation made him reconsider his attitude.

He moves up to the Dwarf and spends a charge of the wand upon him.

A more thurough search of the room reveals cavities beneath the statues bearing mummified bodies. There is no treasure in this room.

Gorefoot recovers from the confusion immediately, but Nar's weakened condition will plague him for a few days.

First Post
"Well, one room down and no one badly hurt. Let's check out the heavy copper door we just passed. Nars, can you check that one out?" says Percy.

Nars checks the door one last time and notes that they are not trapped or locked, though their warped nature has caused them to stick. It'll take some pushing to get that one open.

With Rodimus and Gorefoot's help Nars is able to get the door open. As the heavy door door opens, thick white spoke begins billowing out of the room into the hall, clinging very close to the ground. The floor inside is cracked and mangled, beneath which sickly yellow-green light radiates. Around the room are the smashed remains of six stone sarcophagi. Some of the appear to have melted, as have the four small columns between several of the sarcophagi.

"I don't know" says Percy, holding her nose. "Let's wait til the smoke clears some more. There may be something under the floor making that light."
