Does the author also having a writing impairment that stops them from writing their own script?
I was probably not clear: I am not defending AI generated slop. I was speaking very specifically about the voice over part, and how there are potentially valid reasons for using that technology.

We don't have to, of course, but I think there is definitely a discussion to be had (as a society, I mean) about AI and ableism.

You know what’s particularly galling to me about this conversation. You posted this:

Is that thumbnail art from WotC, or AI generated?

Because that is a robot, not a warforged.

I said the video was low effort, and then you use my comment to call out ableism and AI.

Frankly, that was uncool, and I’m done with this.

That's true. I apologize. In my head the two things wre separate discussions, but I did not express the leap my brain made.

For the record, I did not mean to imply you were ableist -- I was exressing a specific hang up I have about certain discussions regarding AI. So that is on me for being a bad communicator.

Again, I apologize. And really this wasn't the thread for me to go off anyway.

I looked at it as a total package. The background is AI slop art with no unity from shot to shot and the script is a rambling regurgitation of wiki articles. At this point, I don't care if the author is certified mute, it's still low effort AI slop.

Yeah, like I said above, I made a mental leap but did not explain it so I probably came off as an ass.

Such is the nature of pet issues, I guess.

I will say this: I do not like the more recent, more robotic look of the warforged even in the preview art for FotA, or the general steampunkisation of Eberron. One of the cool things about Eberron is that it is still identifiable as D&D high fantasy with a technomagic twist. I want elemental airships and wands, not zepplins and pistols.
