D&D 5E EB's Curse of Strahd IC (Year One)
When the creature's back is to Irena she dives in and lashes out quickly. And then just as nimbly she disengages from the creature and takes a bit of cover near one of the broken pews.
Digger's warning seemed to anger the vampire spawn, but it cautiously watches Halo and when the beam of light comes towards him, he dodges out of the way, right into Josiah's line of fire. The bullet clips the creature's arm an its dark blood flies from the wound.
Ismark enters the fray on Digger's right, Ireena on the left. Ismark takes his hand and a half sword in a two-handed grip, and slashes deftly at the beast. Ireena distracts the creature with an odd salute she brings down quickly cutting at the things worn clothes.

The spawn licks Digger's blood from his fingers as Ireena and Imark move up to attack. "You!" it says a bit of awe in his voice, as it looks at Ireena. "Your His?! I can't! I can't touch you!"
"And you won't get the chance!" Ismark says attacking, but the creature is quicker and it scratches and claws the nobleman. Again the creature pulls away a bloody claw and looks at it hungrily. It tries to wrap its long spindly arms around Ismark, but the veteran breaks away.

Digger bore down and pressed the attack, taking advantage of the distraction caused by Ireena the flat end of his spade rung the bell of the spawn, the fire singing his brow.
OOC: Hit AC 16 for 7 silver & 2 fire
Attack vampire w advantage: 1D20+6 = [5]+6 = 11

Infernal beast, Halo whispers. Rather than choosing another spell, she instead grips the handle on her forge-blessed axe and swings it for all it's worth.

Josiah finds the creature to be faster than anything he has ever seen. And it doesn't help that there are four other people surrounding the beast. Digger comes down across the creatures back, the fire of his weapon leaving charred skin exposed across its back. Watching again as the Lady Ireena maneuvers the creature into an advantageous position for the Silver Spade, he almost grins.
Halo steps up to Ismark and the two have trouble getting in anything other than a superficial blow. SHe fills in her gut that everyone attacking in concert can bring this thing low.
Irena isn't as sure. She moves to the unconscious priest and starts slapping at his face. (On the side Digger didn't almost destroy.) "Come on! Wake up! If you want to save your son you best convince him to stop before they cut him to pieces!"
