Hmmm... bit of wild magic huh? Maybe something to do with your elven blood? You already have mage hand as a cantrip so your character does have some casting ability.

Take some spider climb/invisibilty type spells to help with getting the drop on your targets to trigger your assassin ability.

Sounds fun.

Actually I missed the part in the multiclassing rules you posted earlier that you can pick your archetype. Shadow Sorcerer might be more fitting for my character. Only thing is I don't own Xanthar's Guide so I am not sure what changes where made between the UA and the final version.

So going to poll the group. I am debating the benefits of sticking with Rogue for one more level or going directly with Sorcerer. Rogue gives me cunning action which would allow me to melee more and give me more reliable sneak attack. Sorcerer would give me plenty of utility gaining spells like shield and charm person. What does everyone think about which path I should go?

Also with the classes must be within 1 of each other rule I would need to take 2 levels in sorcerer before I can take my third level in rogue. If I am wrong with this please let me know.

Haha I own Xanathar's guide but not the UA to tell you the difference. From what I have read your powers would come from the Shadowfell, and the first two abilities give you darkvision 120' and the same zombie ability that makes them hard to kill, but CHA based instead of CON.

Multiclass: 1D100 = [96] = 96
Going Fighter...looks like Samurai if and when I reach level.

Looks like you picked the class and rolled the archetype? Shouldn't that have been the other way around lol.

I think shield would help give you more of a melee role, and Cyan could use the partner to get in the Sneak Attack dmg. Also I could develop your first assassination quest a bit further as you push the rogue lvl 3 back a bit by putting lvls of sorcerer inbetween.

As for the lvl ups, you may say take 2 lvls in sorcerer for your next two character levels (rogue 1, sorcerer 2), but you would need to take a lvl in rogue before you could take a third, can't be rogue 1, sorcerer 3

Hope that helps a little - Technically you could wait all the way till character lvl 6 to do your first hired assassination.

I'm sticking with Cleric for Niklos.

Sounds good. I didn't know which multiclass really fit his theme. Do you see any?

Sorry. Did I have to roll to see what class to multiclass to?

Yes, please. Roll a d2 lol
