Elves and fluff, which elf do you prefer?

I've always liked the Sidhe, but they aren't very much like D&D elves. The LeShay is a closer match to the Sidhe than an LA+0 Elf.

From a pure stat-block perspective, Drow actually make pretty good Sidhe elves.

Hero, Keebler elves don't deserve to be in D&D games. They do, however, deserve to be the ones in charge of snacks!

Nah, More like a case of bad acne or that annoying itchy scab you get that when you peel off, hurts and is kind of pusy, but feels better after you do it and then it passes.

I'm only finding elves contemptable for the fact that drow are related to them and thus in general, for the first death of Orcus.

As you can see by the almost 4-way tie, the thread repliers have hardly agreed on anything. But I see no reason what someone who abhors elves would feel compelled to answer a thread about which type of elf is best to their liking.

Other. Eberron's "elves in name only". EINO are superior to normal elves because a) Tolkien sucks, b) not every setting incorporates "faerieland", and c) D&D elves are just arrogant people with pointy ears living in the forest, barely distinguished from humanity at all.

Of the described choices, I prefer the sidhe option, but only when I'm in the mood for that kind of game.

Eh I never said I didn't like elves. I just think barbecuing them has it good points too!
