Congratulations also to the winners of the previous round. I've been very impressed by the level of writing talent on display. That last round particularly reminded me of some better stories from the early years of Interzone, especially Rodrigo's masterful 'All in a Day's Work'. Throbbingly good stuff!

Thanks for all the feedback, both from the judges and the peanut gallery. I'm glad you enjoyed this one; it was a lot of fun to write (especially after my last one) but I was afraid it was a little lightweight for CDM, especially against Mythago.
