Ends Meat (Boddynock Judging)

OOC: Ciprinus is after Sarn Voda Vosa, and in the round before last you gae me two actions - or at least gave me one at the beginning of the last round long before your initiative order. I'll post the baboons reactions after Sarn has gone.

[sblock=Spells]I have to admit to being a little surprised to see Calm Animals used, its not listed amongst your memorized spells - though you are one short. Did you note it down somewhere? I would appreciate it if you would in future. Also looking at your prepared spells you have a Summoned Nature's Ally prepared, since you can cast these spontaneously as a Druid I'd recommend using your prepared slots for other things in future as you can always trade anything for a sna. Nice spell use though![/sblock]

Two of the baboons seem to calm as Ciprinus casts a spell, they look around puzzled and amble back toward their cage. The remaining beast lunges at Sarn again, but cannot connect.

Perkiss emerges from the office now wielding a shield and stands in front of the door with his blade readied.

"Surrender old fool, I have given peace to those animals of yours. It's only you standing against the four of us" Ciprinus says. "Now drop your weapons and we should not hurt you further. If you insist in fighting, we will take you down, merciless; like the foolish good-for nothing assassin you are" The druid menaces.

OOC: Ups I didn't realize that Halford, my apologies. I'll make a mini stat block soon.

Perkiss seems to deflate, and suddenly appears much older,

"And then what? If I give up Fat Sal gets my Menagerie, and he will have all of my animals slaughtered, ground up for glue and offal. I cannot let that happen, I won't. If you can suggest another option but the only recourse I can see is for me to kill and frame you, and then kill that bloated sluggard. I am truly sorry, I wish that you had not interfered. I would rather die trying to save my animals than live knowing I let them down."

He looks at them pleadingly, but maintains his grip on his rapier.

"Have you ever consider realesing them in the wild? This overprotection is not natural Perkiss, you must understand you don't have a chance against us. If you die, Fat Sal gets this place anyway, and you know the dire things he will do to your animals." Ciprinus grows angry with each word "Can't you see you are dooming them all Perkiss? Can you be so blind?".

OOC: if you think a diplomacy check should be in order, roll for me.

The old man shakes his head,

"They'd die, their pampered pets for the most part. Perhaps the baboons, but its too cold for Heraldo, Julius and Froom are too old he'd be eaten in hours," he nods towards the camel and hyena in turn, "its not an option."

Sadness rings in his voice, and his eyes are wet with tears.

OOC: DnD PETA.

"I could take care of some of them Perkiss. We could give them to another menagerie" Ciprinus says. "I could take care of Heraldo, you know I would care him as a brother. If you continue this, Fat Sal would have won this fight. Don't let that happen Perkiss, don't give him that satisfaction"
Diplomacy: 15

OOC: I didn't understood the OOC comment.
