So, um, when can we expect the Nominations and how long will the voting process be open?

We are getting the last few votes in hopefully tonight and once that's done then they will be announced. I don't know how long it takes to set up the voting, but I'm hoping it doesn't take too loong. Idealy the voting will be open for a week.

Gencon's less than 3 weeks away, which isn't going to leave much time for awards slides or trophies. Or was all that scrapped this year? (I haven't been paying too much attention, so I'm sure I've missed something.)

I am not involved with the slides or trophies. I do know that the awards are either done or close to done. Attaching the name plate to them is the final step and the only part that needs to have the winners. I know nothing of the slides.

I think Michael Morris will be requiring that all Nominees send him a slide to be used. If they dont, then they dont get included in the slide show.

I cant speak for him however.

We are literally putting the finishing touches on the list in the Judges Forum ]right now

It has been hard this year. Really hard.

I'm going to quote Crothian from the Judges forum (hope this isn't out of line)

if this coming year has this many gems produced I think we should proclaim a new Golden Age of Role Playing.

I couldn't agree more.

Soon. As in as soon as possible. As the others have said, this year was REALLY hard. I was very impressed with the quality of entries. There was a bit of hair pulling on my part in some of the categories, as the other judges can tell you.

There might be some ceremonial blessings off of the nominee lists and checks to make sure I'm not an idiot before you see it, but all votes are cast.
