ENnies winners?

I really feel that the nomination is the important win. The nomination involved five judges looking at your product in detail and comparing it to all the other products out there, and agreeing that yours was one of the best five. That's a hell of an obstacle!

Seconded! My feelings exactly. :)

We didn't even come close to selling out, but we heard from a lot of people who couldn't find the game.
I was anoyed that the company name didn't seem to be listed in the "big list of exhibitors" - I have no doubt that's why I couldn't find the booth myself! I decided to just order it from the website.

Just got back from Gencon after a 12 hour drive. I just wanted to pop in and mention how great the Ennies went. We didn't win, but I'm happy just with the nomination. Great job by Dextra, the judges, and everyone else. Piratecat and the other presenters were very funny so it was a great night!

Thank you! It was an honor just to be nominated! (Or so I hear. You can ask TB and RI to be sure. :p ) But the win just made this GenCon so much more special. Or maybe it was the four gin-and-tonics I downed throughout the ceremony. Not during the cocktail reception, just during the actual ceremony. And after that tequila at The Ram, too.... (where's the "drunk" smiley when you need it? Guess I'll have to use an emoticon: :*) )

FIERY DRAGON rocks!

I am so winning this auction again next year (if they do it again). Sorry, TB and RI--you'll have to pony up really big bucks to win it in 2007. Sniping only works when you remember *before* the auction ends. ;)

It sounds like you may have had TOO much fun. :D

Grognard Award
For companies that represent older gaming traditions.

Silver: goodman games.
Gold: necromancer games

some guy sitting with the paizo group gave this award out. and the guys from goodman games didn't even show up. :heh:

First of all, congrats to each and every Ennie winner this year. I was particularly happy to see a number of my favorite companies/products recognized, including but not limited to, the Fanpro folks with Shadowrun 4e, and the guys at Paizo.

Obviously after winning a silver at the 2005 ennies, myself and the other folks with Planewalker had high hopes this year, and to that end we put more than a fair bit of work into the site's content. Well, we didn't win this time around, but I consider it a serious honor to simply have been among the nominees chosen by the judges. Serious kudos to the Yog-Sothoth guys for their gold win, as you've got some snazzy content (and I like CoC as well...), and likewise congrats to the Farland guys for the silver.

No shame at all in coming in behind you guys in the voting, you had nice stuff, and it'll push us into ramping our own efforts up a notch. I look forward to pumping out more material for Planewalker in this upcoming year, and if folks like it, perhaps we'll see you again next year. It was an honor just being on the ballot.
