Hey, wasn't Katie Holmes attatched to this film as well? Or was that just a casting rumor type thing? Just wondering.

By the way, someone at my work showed me some picture that was taken of the teaser poster for Batman Begins. Looked kinda ..... odd. Anyways, anyone have a link to an image of that teaser poster?

So far, I'm looking forward to the film. Even if it fails, I'm glad at least they are making the attempt to do a serious (non-campy) Batman film. It would really suck for us fans if "Batman & Robin" was the last cinematic word on Batman for years and years. A shame to let it die with that last horrible film. Some properties do. Die that is, from that last trip to the big screen. I'm glad its been given another go.

Glad to see Gary Oldman in the film and ecstatic that Christian Bale is playing Batman. He seems very fit for the 'dark hero' role.

Christian Bale has been in a hell of a lot of movies, and he's good in about all of them. I'm confident that he can pull this off.

Yeah I'd read in a couple of periodicals that she was a lock too, so I was a bit surprised that she wasn't mentioned in the EW article. I'd probably prefer that they do this one without a love interest, but if they have to, I can't say I'll be disappointed if its her.
