Ra's in the 70's (when Neal Adams and Denny O'neil brought the "Dark" back to Dark Knight) wanted to kill half of the earth's populace, and wanted to rule those remaining. Oh, and he headed the League of Assassins at some point...
As far as I know, Talia won't be mentioned (although she might show up as a cameo?), nor will the Lazarus' Pit or Ra's supposed immortality.
