I recently purchased Elements of Magic Revised and it has inspired me to convert an old campaign world I was working on to use the magic system presented.
I have started to look at classes starting with the Knights of the order of the Shield. These fulfill a similar role to paladins in my world but do not have the healing ability, concentrating on the militant side.
My first draft conversion is below and I would like any feedback.
Knight in the Order of the Shield
Hit dice, BAB and Saves as per paladin
Named abilities are the same as those possessed by the paladin class
Alignment LG
Level
1 Aura of Good, Smite Evil 1/day, Dowse Evil +2 bonus
2 Divine Grace
3 Aura of Courage, Divine Health
4 Dispel Magic +2 bonus
5 Smite evil 2/day, Special mount
